PT PMSE is a joint venture between PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Investasi (PT PJBI) and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company - Masdar
PT PJB is a subsidiary of PT PLN Persero, a state owned enterprise which is owned by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia
Masdar is a subsidiary of ADNOC, TAQA, and Mubadala, owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi
Ownership Structure
1. PT PMSE is a joint venture company between PT PLN Nusantara Renewables, Subsidiary of PT PLN Nusantara Power (Previously PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali) and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company – Masdar (Masdar).
2. PT PLN Nusantara Power is a subsidiary of PT PLN Persero, an Indonesian state-owned enterprise (BUMN)
3. Masdar is a subsidiary of ADNOC, TAQA and Mubadala, owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi.
4. The Cirata Power Plant is a highly strategic project between both countries and is a testimony of the strong bilateral relationship.
5. Due to its high economic benefit and strategic value, the Cirata Floating Project was granted the status of Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN) by the Government of Indonesia.
Project Structure
The Cirata floating solar power plant project is funded by equity from sponsors and a consortium of international commercial banks through Project Finance directly to PT PMSE
PT PMSE generates and provides electricity to a single buyer (off Taker), which is PT PLN Persero.
